Hikes at middle elevations
1. Sport Hotel Alpina - Isskogel - Kreuzjoch - Langensee - Krimml Alm
Travel with the Isskogelbahn (rail) for several options: to the Isskogel at 2264m (1.5. hours), to Kreuzjoch 2558m (3 hours), Wilde Krimml over the Krimml mountain pasture to the Langensee (lake), also possible as a loop route.
2. Sport Hotel Alpina - Königsleiten - Falschriedl - Ochsenkopf
From the hotel along the Krumbach brook to the sledding area, follow the signs for Route 3, and up a steep incline through a patch of forest. Through beautiful mountain pastures and fields to the outskirts of the Königsleitenalm (mountain pasture). From there, make a left turn to the Fussalm, where the route markings combine with those of the Moselträttelalm. Go over the hillcrest to the Falschriedl at 2420m, it will be about 30 more minutes until your reach Ochsenkopf at 2420m.
3. Sport Hotel Alpina - Gerlosplatte - Plattenkogel - Wildkarsee
Take the auto to the Gerlosplatte (plain). The Plattenkogel is a mountain famous for its amazing views, and it can be easily climbed in 30 minutes. There you will see a breath-taking panorama view of the Durlassboden reservoir, and much more...
4. Sport Hotel Alpina - Arbiskogel - Kirchspitze
Wonderul hikes over mountain pastures, through dense forests and over blooming fields. It's worth it. The Arbiskogel is named for the "Arben" (Swiss stone pine trees), which grow even at the peak. The hotel is a central departure point: cross the bridge behind the hotel, march to the saw mill, and follow Route 7.
5. Sport Hotel Alpina - Kühle Rast - Schwarzach Valley - Obere Schwarzach - Brandberger Joch
We recommend that your travel from the hotel to the Kühlen Rast. The hike through a small patch of trees, stay left and you will come into the romantic Schwarzach Valley after passing the Schwarzach-Bichlaste. After an hour you will reach the Schwarzach Almhäuser (mountain homes). Take the serpentine trail up (an in a western direction) to the Schwarzachalm (mountain pasture) at 1651m. The route will then take you along the right-hand northern mountain slope of the Hochkars up to the Brandenberg Joch.

1. Arbiskogel - Kirspitze
From the hotel over the Arbiskogel 2050m, onto the Kirspitze 2340m, down over the Stackerl Alm, and to the Lacken Alm, Schönach Valley.
Time: ca. 6 hours
2. Keeskarscharte
We travel with the hotel bus into the Schönach Valley to the Iss Alm at 1500m, then up to Scharte at 2790m, and down into the Wildgerlos Valley to the Finkau Gasthof. There you will be picked up by the hotel bus.
Time: ca. 6 hours
3. Salzachgeier 2480 m - Kitzbuhel Alps
We travel with the hotel bus along the Gerlosstraße (Gerlos Street), hike through the vally to the Salzachjoch where we will take a "Jause" break, then onto the Salzachgeier.
Time: ca. 6 hours
4. Summit Tour
We travel with the hotel bus to the Fuß Alm, up to the Königsleiten peak, over to the Falschiedl, along the ridge to the Ochsenkopf 2320m, back over the Salzachkar, Larmach Alm.
Time: 5.5 hours
5. Loop Hike
Salzach Valley to the Salzachjoch 2050M (Markirchl), onto the Naderjoch 2210m, back to the Naderntal, Ronach Gasthof.
Time: 5 hours
6. Wechselspitze
We travel with the hotel bus to the Fürst Alm, then take the chair lift to the Fürst Alm, then onto the Kirchspitze, and up to the Wechselspitze, down to the Lacken Alm into the Schönach Valley.
