Our qualified yoga teachers will guide you through your yoga-holiday experience and help you regain some of your inner balance. We provide you with a holistic experience. Ayurvedic cuisine, yoga lessons in our very own yoga shala or yoga garden, hikes in nature accompanied by yoga lessons and meditation sessions in the mountains, magical, mysterious and peaceful surroundings. Hatha Yoga Asanas – create balance and unites opposites

At our Yoga hotel in Austria in the natural alpine environment with our qualified Yoga teachers we teach you the meaning of Yoga practice and the skills to continue your practice at home. The word hatha means willful or forceful. Hatha yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely.
Hatha is also translated as ha meaning “sun” and tha meaning “moon.” This refers to the balance of masculine aspects—active, hot, sun—and feminine aspects—receptive, cool, moon—within all of us. Hatha yoga is a path toward creating balance and uniting opposites. In our physical bodies we develop a balance of strength and flexibility. We also learn to balance our effort and surrender in each pose.
Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation. It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment.

Meet your yoga teacher at the alpine Yoga and Ayurveda resort in Tyrol

Maya grew up in Gerlos, Austria and is currently also living here. She went to India for a longer period in 2006 which is where she started with her first yoga courses. Maya recognized the amazing possibilities of yoga immediately and has used this ancient system to continuously work on mental blockages, fears, karma through her daily asanas and meditation. It has helped her to gain a much deeper understanding of life and what is truly important. She returned to India again in order to continue her yoga practice with experienced teachers and has been blessed to work in places such as Mysore, Kerala and Rishikesh. Further seminars and workshops were visited by her in Germany and Austria. She finally finished her qualifications and exams as a yoga teacher in Austria.

Your third day

Time out with yoga

Just like the 2nd day, we will start the third day with an invigorating smoothie at 07:30 am. The fourth yoga session begins at 07:45. After an invigoration class we will enjoy our amazing Traumhotel breakfast. At 11:00 am we are going for our hike into the so called „Grumbachtal“ and we will find a beautiful space for another meditation session in nature. From 3-5 pm you can enjoy your me-time again and at 5pm the last yoga session of this little yoga holiday will start. Dinner together on the last evening will just complete your „time out with yoga“ – so what are you waiting for? We are waiting for your call to book <3

Your second day

Time out with yoga

The second day starts with a healthy good morning smoothie at 07:30 am. Right after your morning health boost we will start our second yoga session. Breakfast is served at 09:15 to strengthen ourselves with a healthy meal before the next part of your day. At 11:00 am we are ready to hit the mountain. The gondola will take us up to the „Zillertalarenacenter“ from where we will hike to the so called „Latschensee“ and where we will practice seated meditation right at the lake shore. From 2.30 pm onwards you can enjoy me-time at the hotel, in nature or whatever you prefer. Part of the full-board amenities you can choose from our very versatile ayurvedic buffet, go for relaxation, sauna, steam baths or any sort of treatment you would like to indulge in in our beauty centre. Maybe you would even want to go for an abhyanga massage or other treatments that are in line with your yoga holiday! The third yoga session starts at 5 pm and will finish just before the start of dinner at 7pm. Dinner will be served in our specialty restaurant.

Your first day

Time out with yoga

Your check-in can happen from about 3pm onwards. At 4.50 pm we will meet at the reception desk and the yoga check-in. This is were you will have a short meet & greet session. Right after that you will start your first yoga session consisting of meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises), asanas (yoga poses), Shavasana (deep relaxation) and lots of love and care. Dinner starts at 6:30 pm and you can choose between eating with the group or just being for yourself.
