Where are the Hohe Tauern mountains?
The 1,800 km² Hohe Tauern National Park, which is larger than any other national park in Central Europe (excluding marine protected areas), extends across three Austrian provinces: Tyrol, Carinthia, and Salzburg. The Traumhotel Alpina is located on the Tyrolean side, in the Zillertal valley. This is where one of the safest and most modern winter sports areas in Austria awaits you – the Zillertal Arena with nearly 140 km of slopes and 51 lifts.
Your hotel directly on the slopes
Not only is our hotel located in the Hohe Tauern National Park, but it is also directly on the Isskogel ski slope. You can reach the 8-person Isskogel cable car in 15 minutes by foot.
The lift also operates in summer and takes you up to the top station at an elevation of 1,900 metres.
