An electric bicycle is simple, convenient and very economical. It makes a lot of fun and is a great alternative for people who are not into mountain biking that much. The rider can control the intense of the motor, can switch it on and off all the time. We love these economically friendly bikes, therefore we decided to give our guests the chance to discover Gerlos with the “Haibike”. You can rent Haibike’s at the hotel, our trained staff explains you everything and tells you great routes. It’s a relaxing way of getting around for everybody, just try it out!

Also called the royal tour in Gerlos is the so called Isskogel tour. From the starting point towards Gerold Gmünd and then crossing the Brennachweg to Gerlostalalm to Innerertensalm – this flawless and strenuous trail with fantastic views of Gerlos is absolutely worthwhile taking. It rewards you with views into three side valleys: Schönachtal, Wimmert and Schwarzachtal as well as allowing you a peak to the glacier in the Zillertal Alps when you get to the top. A varied descent initially leads down to Ebenfeldalm (Refreshments Latschenalm) and further via a private road or over 3 single tracks to Gerlos. Take care during the last 4 kilometres as agricultural vehicles might be crossing your path.
This 11 km long and about 200 meters in altitude tour is also feasible for less trained people. Starting directly from the Traumhotel Alpina you ride along a gentle graveled road into the Schönachtal. The scenic highlight of the Schönachtals is the „Issalm“. That`s the reversal point of the tour. Impressing cliff terminations and at the end of the valley the Schönachgletscher. If you’re hungry or thirsty, the Lackneralm is ideal for a short break and to recharge your batteries. Bikes and biking gear are supplied by the Traumhotel and will allow you to discover the fantastic mountain bike trails and the Yogahotel in the mountains.
Small but nice, that`s probably the best way to describe this cute and varied tour around the Durlassboden and into the Wildgerlostal. The beautiful driveway along the Gerlos-brook and the route at the shore of Durlassboden promise much fun. A little bit more leg power and stamina are required on about 2 kilometers onwards from the cross of the Salzach-brook back to the Seestüberl. (Around 100 metres above the lake). This road can also be surpassed by taking the asphalted street in direction „Königsleiten“ to then arrive up at the pass return to the left of the main road. The panoramic views during the ride through the Wildgerlostal with a view to the glaciers are breathtaking. There are rest points alongside the trail like the Seestüberl, the Bärschlagalm and the Restaurant Finkau. All in all a perfect tour for ambitious beginners and family with ambitious teens.
