Recipe: Ayurvedic energy balls

Ayurvedic energy balls

Quick. Easy. Delicious.

Ingredients for 15 balls
  • 150g dried dates
  • 6 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (ground)
  • 1cm fresh ginger root
  • 2 tbsp oat flakes (fine)
  • 80g sunflower seeds
  • 1 pinch of rock salt
  • 2 tbsp almond paste
Preparation
  1. Halve and pit the dates, then put them in a tall container or in a blender.
  2. Add half of the coconut flakes, cinnamon, ginger, oat flakes, sunflower seeds, rock salt, and almond paste and blend until smooth.
  3. If the mixture is too sticky, simply add a few more oat flakes.
  4. With damp hands, form small balls and roll them in the remaining coconut flakes.
  5. Store them in a cool place and eat soon.
